索菲·熱爾曼素數

如果一個素數和都是素數，則稱為索菲·熱爾曼素數。前幾個索菲·熱爾曼素數是 2, 3, 5, 11, 23, 29, 41, 53, 83, 89, 113, 131, ... (OEIS A005384)。尚不清楚是否存在無限個索菲·熱爾曼素數 (Hoffman 1998, p. 190)。

小於的索菲·熱爾曼素數的數量，對於 , 2, ... 分別是 3, 10, 37, 190, 1171, 7746, 56032, ... (OEIS A092816)。

截至 2016 年 2 月 29 日，已知的最大已證明的索菲·熱爾曼素數對由給出，其中

(Caldwell)，每個數都有位十進位制數字 (PrimeGrid)。

索菲·熱爾曼素數的定義以及當時已知的最大此類素數的值在 2005 年電影Proof中由角色 Hal 和 Catherine 提及。
