雅可比猜想

平面上的雅可比猜想，最早由 Keller (1939) 提出，指出給定一個環同態 F 從 C[x,y] (複數域 C 上的雙變數多項式環) 對映到自身，且固定 C 並將 x, y 分別對映到 f, g，則 F 是一個 自同構 當且僅當 雅可比行列式 f_xg_y-f_yg_x 是 C 中的非零元素。這個條件很容易被證明是必要的，但證明充分性自 Keller (1939) 以來一直是一個未解決的問題。

雅可比猜想是 Smale 問題 之一。

多年來，至少有五個已發表的不正確的證明和許多不正確的嘗試。2004 年 11 月，Hochster (2004) 傳送電子郵件宣佈 Carolyn Dean 給出了一個新的證明。然而，不幸的是，這個證明也包含了一個錯誤。
