完全正則空間

一個 拓撲空間 X 使得對於每個閉子集 C of X 和每個點 x in X\C, 存在一個 連續函式 f:X->[0,1] 使得 f(x)=0 且 f(C)={1}。

這是大多數作者給出的定義（Kelley 1955, p. 117; Willard 1970, pp. 94-95）。然而，一些作者（例如，Cullen 1968, p. 130）要求附加條件，即 X 是一個 T1-空間。在任何情況下，每個完全正則空間都是正則的，反之則不然。
