彈性

對於原子整環 R (即，其中每個非零非單位元都可以分解為不可約元素的乘積的整環) 且 I(R) 為不可約元素集，R 的彈性定義為

rho(R)=sup{m/n: exists alpha_1,...,alpha_n,beta_1,...,beta_m in I(R) with alpha_1...alpha_n=beta_1...beta_m}.
